Are you charging with the battery in the camera or not. Do you know if your charger is working, it may have an output but is it enough.
maybe take it in to have it checked, if you can try another charger, (you have replaced the battery) Its a process of deduction.

Digital Optics is the brand name of the add-on lenses included in that auction.
If you do a search for "Digital Optics lens" on Google, most of the top searches suggest the lenses aren’t very good.

I’ve read reviews on the Sony, JVC and Canon in this price range, and many people are commenting on a new video format that they are using that isn’t compatible with a lot of editing software. I would like to be able to edit videos easily, so I’m not sure which would work the best for me. Thanks for your help!! By the way, I have Vista so I’d probably be using the editing software that it has???
Sony HDR-SR5E or Sony HDR-SR7E is better with performance. I think the price too will match you.

i recorded a video onto an 8mm Sony Hi8MP.
my camcorder recently broke so i cant upload it onto my computer.
do you think it’d work with somebody else’s camera?
If the other camcorder is the same format (Hi8) it should work. If it’s Digital8 it may work as some of them were backwards compatible with the older formats.

Review:
This camera can withstand a lot of abuse. I have accidentally dropped it on concrete and filmed in the rain for an hour without a cover, and it still keeps on trucking! Although, the rain did make it so the touch flip-screen only works in certain positions (usually tucked away and flipped out, as seen in the video). There are a few cracks even in the plastic, but that does not affect its performance. One thing that is rather frustrating with the HC1 model is that the DV tape ejects from the bottom, so it is difficult to do work with a tripod. Also, it is rather big compared to other models (note: the battery is after-stock). But other than that, it is a powerful and tough Sony camera.

its a sony with a 330x digital zoom… its battery type is np-f550… im only a teen so i dun kno lots of things…
plug the cable that came with camera into your VCR RCA (in) ports, This way all is analog. Or get a 8mm to VHS converter tape for your VCR. On the TV select line-in and channel 3/4. While your at it put in a blank VCR tape and record it.
