How come the audio is left out from the video when I upload my camcorder to My Movie Maker?

I uploaded a video from my recently recorded Sony Camcorder. And the WHOLE video was great BUT there was no audio when I reviewed it on my Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9. What should I do?
