    @drums1026
    Your …

    @drums1026
    Your camera is much easier to take apart than MIni DV cameras,
    try this before take whole part out,
    remove top cover by 1 unscrew on top and 2 screws on left side of top cover,
    you will see 5 ribbon cables from mechanism to main board,
    disconnect all 5 cables from main board and put ‘em back in,
    and let me know how is working,

    so…how did you …
    so…how did you get that piece out of the camera in the first place? could you post a video of how to disassemble the camera completely? I have a ccd-trv128 and have tried EVERYTHING! I can’t get past the dis-assembly process of taking the two halves apart. I need to access the tape door/hatch.
    Here’s the problem…The door gets stuck- sometimes while coming up to eject, other times while trying to pop the tape out. I don’t get why it switches like that. I just wanna take the whole thing apart

    Hi
    Could you tell me where you got that part, and the part number (for the gear you replaced). I have only come across the whole MD N220 sub chassis replacement part.
    Thanks
    Ravi
